We've landed!

So we've been in cabo now for 4 days and it really is paradise!! We lucked out when we got here because the day before it rained which brought in the cooler weather! We also lucked out because we didn't get much slack for all 6 large bags that we brought full of wedding gifts and clothes which would have usually been taxed wasn't the case for us! Monday or day 1 was an unpacking day and trying to figure out what all essentials we needed! Tuesday was more active. We went out and got our internet set back up, grocery shopped, and still worked on sprucing up the house! Wednesday Ty had to go back to work which was a bitter sweet feeling... It's hard to jump back in after 6 weeks of not working but he was excited to get back into the swing of things! My first day away from him in literally 6 weeks was strange but exciting at the same time! I walked around to get my barings set on the area, find cute little shops and possible restaurants to test out. I also unknowingly found my first job prospect and information leading to another! I stumbled apon a local newspaper, walked in and spoke with the editor for quite a while! He mentioned the possibility of doing some free lance writing once or twice a month for a good rate and even better get paid in dollars! It's about 4 blocks from the house and 1 block from Capella! He mentioned I had some opportunities there and I could get really creative and even have a bi-monthly segment! I was also given great information about Cabo Mil, Cabo's only radio station, that could really help me get back into my passion!! Apparently the gringo who does the news (which is in English) isn't something special so hopefully they will give me a shot and at least listen to my demo! Keep all your fingers, toes, legs, arms, and whatever else you can crossed for positive feedback from Cabo Mil! Today is Thursday or day 4!! We finally got the internet back and in full swing here at the house, vonage up and going, and the day is yet again immaculate!! When Ty got home last night he mentioned that the hotel also had a few openings in a new high end boutique they are opening for guests and locals and also a personal assistant position. Both would be extremely fortunate to have and I am keeping patient until we hear more news!! It would be lovely to have something by next week!! Not working for 6 weeks (well besides on the wedding) has been enjoyable but the time has come to get back to the grind!! We love you all so much and it's so fun how many ways we are able to stay connected! Keep in mind our home phone number is through vonage and you can call for free anytime of the day. Also right now we do not have an actual address here at the house but I am going to run out today and get some PO BOX related system so when Christmas rolls around, birthdays, etc. you can send cards.
