As we celebrate a glorious day in Mexican history as well as our dear niece's birthday, we also celebrate the life of a dear friend that was taken well too soon from us.
Sweet Esteban Hidalgo, 39 years young is with our lord now. His personality radiated everywhere he went. He was one that never met a stranger. Full of life, love, and of course that laugh, so distinct from miles away. Though we only knew you a short time, you truly touched our hearts. Please watch over the hurt souls at Capella as they try to understand the cruel realities of this world. Justice will be served my friend and time will be the teller. Give them the strength to continue to pursue their dreams and aspirations in life. When they are down, fill them with courage to continue. Remind them that we don't decide our fates and though revenge seems sweet during a time like now, our father is the determining factor of when we enter and leave this beautiful world.
We know you have the best seat in the house right now Esteban, drinks galore, and you are the life of one amazing party! I want you to know I am ready to move up to spanglish and I hope you are proud! I know one day we will meet again and you won't have to translate... I promise you that!! Save a seat for us in heaven dear Esteban as we will join you there one day. We miss you so much and please know that through your short time here on this planet, you impacted the lives of so many and will never be forgotten. We are truly blessed to have met you. So long for now mi amigo.
